Currently exhibited in the collection of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers at the Guildhall, London, this elegant timepiece made by David Poole is one of the finest examples of the clockmaker’s craft today.
The intricate hand made movement incorporates the traditional features of English regulator clocks to give precision timekeeping:

A unique fully jewelled “remontoire” visible at the back of the movment provides a constant force

The hand engraved dial shows the time, the date and moonphase. Correctors are incorporated to enable these features to be easily adjusted.

Constructed from solid brass, the mirror finish of the case is protected by heavy 22 carat gold plating.

The curved and beveled side glasses offer an interesting view of the movement, glasses at the front and back are easily removable for winding and adjustment.
