Welcome to the home site of the Oxford Branch of the British Horological Institute (BHI). The British Horological Institute was founded in 1858 and is the national organisation which sets standards for training and regulates the profession by grades of qualification. The branch has been reformed and held its first meeting in February 2008. The Branch meets at the South Hinskey Village Hall, Oxford, on the third Tuesday of each month. For more information about branch meetings, events, auctions etc. please click on the navigation buttons above.
Pleased be advised that from September 2010 Branch meetings will take place on the 4th Tuesday of every month at the Foxcombe Lodge Hotel, Boars Hill near Oxford (post code OX1 5DP).
